How to regain access to a pre-existing Provider Account

All Providers accounts and Professional Development applications have been converted from the previous version of PDSAM and are available in the new system. However, account passwords were not converted due to security restrictions.

All converted accounts have been assigned a random password in ARPDSAM. You must reset this password to regain access to your information. To do so, you must know and have access to the e-mail address you used to create your original account. By using the e-mail address on file with ARPDSAM you can reset your password and, if necessary, recover the username you provided when creating your account.

Please refer to the situations below for steps to follow to recover your account. You will need your Username and Password to login to PDSAM.

I know both the e-mail address and username.
Use the Forgot Password feature to receive an e-mail with a link that will enable you to set a new password.

Note: The e-mail account must still be valid and you must be able to access it in order to complete the Password Reset operation.

I know the e-mail address, but I do not know my username.
  • Use the Forgot Password feature to receive an e-mail with a link that will enable you to set a new password.
  • Then use the Forgot Username feature to receive an e-mail that will provide the username associated with the e-mail address.

Note: The e-mail account must still be valid and you must be able to access it in order to complete these steps.

I do not know, or cannot access, the e-mail address, or I did not provide an e-mail address when I created my original account.
The new ARPDSAM system requires providers register a valid e-mail address. Please contact ADE for further assistance recovering your account.
